Safety in the workplace is the focus of the
occupational program.  Monthly meetings host
speakers on a wide variety of topics such as
worker's compensation, OSHA, lock/out-tag out,
personal protective equipment, recordkeeping,
off-the-job safety and plant tours.

OSHA 10 Hour General Industry
Outreach Training

The 10-hour course is considered by OSHA to be
a beginner's course to the OSHA 29 CFR 1910
General Industry laws, regulations, penalties
(civil and criminal) regarding safety and health.  
Students who complete this course receive a
wallet card
issued by OSHA.
